    If you purchased a Peek and it doesn't connect to the network (indicative of a red-x) on the title bar at the top you'll need to activate your Peek. It's a snap.

    All you need to do is go here: https://www.getpeek.com/activation.htm

    Once that's complete, turn on and off your Peek and you'll be set.

    I did that 11 hours ago and still can't put my email in. I was told at 4:30 or so to wait 2 hours it is now 11:00. I just bought it this morning and right now I'm disappointed in peek.

    Hi Alice!

    I'm really sorry to hear that you're still having troubles. We're out of the office right now, but if you could please email me your IMEI number to Care@getpeek.com, preferably in your original email...that'd be great. You can find the IMEI underneath your battery. :-)

    Getting you up and running will be a priority of mine tomorrow morning!

    I am finally up and running. using the email address you provided got me active and I followed the rest of your instructions and got my email address into the peek. Thanks alot, I will test for a few days and most likely will send it in for an upgrade since the one I just bought is ver 1.04 and I really want to use for texting.

    @Alice -Your 1.04 can text!

    Just compose a new email and in the "To:" field, type in the 10 digit number like this 602459888 and send it out as normal!

    Pronto just texts better. The only Peek that cannot text is 1.09.15 Classic!

    Actually my friend could NOT get the device to text using the 10 digit number under 1.04. He had to use the separate email extension for the provider he was using. It works, though.

    Note: I haven't gotten him to test it under 1.09.15.

    Verizon for him, I tried using the 10 digit for a T-Mobile user and it did not work either. As I've said I have not had the opportunity to test it out with 1.09.15 because I don't have people I regularly text.

    i just activated my peek phone and no matter what it wont work.and i cant acess my account and i know that my phone is activated beacuse i got teh email

    Like gettingbetter101 I just activated my Peek device and I still have the red X. I emailed Peek and got a prompt reply but the thing still is not working. After flipping the box over I noticed the Scan for Activation code and I don't recall the sales associate scanning it.

    I bought a spare Peek months ago and had it upgraded to Pronto. I called Peek on Thursday, and they activated by phone without any problems.
