    I have been getting my emails from Gmail faster than I was before, and for that I am happy. However, I have had trouble with actually reading the emails that I have forwarded to me from another account. I bought the cable online yesterday so hopefully I can get whatever I need fixed soon.

    Yesterday, they would show up with a subject line but no body. Today, they did the same thing except that it said "retrieving more" for a hot second and then stopped and it was just as blank as it was before.

    Anyone else with a similar problem?

    Very odd - no issues at all like that for me. My recommendation is a quick call to Peek Customer Care. Might have something to do with the forwarding...

    @yoadrienne - some mail systems when forwarding is used actually creates the forwarded message as an attachment. We've seen this generally with Groupwise based email systems. E-mail clients like Gmail simply render the attachment as text however on the Peek the body would be blank but an attachment would be present.

    @gabe,

    To clarify, does that mean she will have to Open the message to read it and the push on the scroll wheel and open the menu, then scroll to View Attachment in order to read the message?

    To expand on what Gabe said, I know for a fact that if I forward an email using Thunderbird, it does send an attatchment as a .eml file. I'm pretty sure Pronto has the undocumented ability to display a .txt file, but I'm not sure whether or not the Peek can recognize it.

    I've had a different problem with forwards. Often I'll forward something from my Peek to my work account but I delete the headers on the forward for various reasons. But when the forward comes through to my work account, the headers are still there, even though I deleted them before I hit "send" on the Peek. Anyway to avoid this problem?

    I don't see an "open attachment" option when I open up one of these forwards. If I had, I probably would not have opened up a discussion about it.

    @Tom said he would alert someone about it via email so hopefully it gets fixed. It's one of the main reasons I was so happy to get a Peek, so that I could know what was happening on campus but it's essentially pointless.

    Unless I could add my groupwise account to my Peek?
