I will say right up front I love my Peek! I have purchased one for my daughter (17) and it's saving a lot of headaches, we Peek back and forth instead of texting on her prepaid cell. My question is when signing up for ping.fm there are no instructions for Peek users or maybe it's just me as I'm not tech savvy. How do I use it now that I have signed up for status updates to fb and ms?

I figured this out last Sunday (for the second time). Let's say you want to update your status on Facebook. While there are probably many ways to do that via Ping.fm, what I did was, from the Dashboard screen:
1 - in the Services/Tools part, click on "email". The next screen gives you the email addy to which you want to email your "status" text
2 - back in the Services/Tools part, click on Facebook. The next screens are essentially where you tell Ping what your Facebook credentials are, and what you want to update.

So that's it! From that point on, you use your Peek to email the ping.fm email addy you got in #1, and ping.fm will relay that message along to what you set up in #2.

    Hope that helps.

It's actually quite handy for bloggers, too, because it supports blogger.com with an address of your choice. Twittermail uses an email address of your choice as well, unlike Ping.fm, which assigns some random sequence of characters.

However, to give credit to Ping.fm, I can now post staus updates to twitter, myspace, blogger, and facebook simultaneously, and also have an email address on blogger.com specifically for blogging entries, all from my Peek.

Wish I had known about Ping.fm a long time ago!
