    * Blue Envelope Flashes After Mail Is Opened And Read.

    * Email Address Max Out At Two (2). Supported Three (3) Prior To Upgrade But Only Two (2) Were In At Time Of Upgrade. (Upgrading did not wipe device clean.)

    * Text Test Says Text Not Supported, Was Supported Prior To Up Grade. (However, it seems to reply to SMS text sent. Not sure though. Reply still not confirmed.)

    * In Peek Manager > Device Info >Device Type = Peek Classic (odd)

    * Test Of PDF, & Word Doc. Failed.

The device was shipped to me in February from Peek as 1.08.

Email sent from one email account on Peek to the other (testing) took about 7 minutes.

srandallthomas - sounds like what you flashed up to is 1.09 "classic", not pronto. Try another reflash? And if that doesn't work.. .call Peek Cust Care tomorrow.

As for the blue envelope.. if you use a mode OTHER than Battery Saver, that should lick it.

Thanks Pam. the install icon name is PeekProntoUpdater

I'll check to see if there's another Updater, Pronto and install again. Or try a re-install.

You will also need to do a reset of the device prior to the flash in order to ensure the flash works correctly.

@srandallthomas - On the email accounts being limited to 2, I was just having this issue (software v 1.04). Since I didnt have much on it I just reset the device and added my accounts again. This time it took all 3 accounts w/o problems. Not sure if a reset might help you on that part.

@srandallthomas - You're on 1.09 Classic. You'll need to reset your Peek and try updating again please.

I made the update about three hours ago and it shows as Peek Pronto under Device Info but there still seems to be a 5 minute delay receiving emails. Does it take a while before my account gets on the Pronto server? I'm using one account (Gmail).
  3.
@Tom - should I use the same updater or search for a new one?

todd: it appears that push isn't fully rolled out yet; Gabe has said in the chat that it'll be completely rolled out over the next few days.

Same updater, we might need to do a few things with your IMEI though.

1.09 is 1.09, Pronto or Classic.

    @crc
Sounds good. Thanks for the info.

I'll try a few things, I'm not afraid to play around with this.

How many ways is there to reset?
  5.
I'm upgrading again. I notice that there's a check next to Clear Peek Memory, but it did not clear the memory during the first install. All my email and settings were the same, only thing missing was the password to lock the device.

If I have to upgrade again, I'll disable that feature before I proceed.

@srandallthomas - did you reset BEFORE you started the upgrade? Sounds like you may not have.

By "reset", we mean going to the Peek Manager ->Device Info -> Reset Peek (by inputting "getpeek" in the text box, hitting OK)

You need to ALWAYS do a full device reset prior to updating.

Peek Manager > Device Info > Reset Peek

8-0.......umm........I didn't know that. (my bad)

This is like the third upgrade. After it's done. I'll do it again the right way.
  7.
The Rest worked. Blue Envelope still flashing but I suspect that there's a reason for that, will see.

If you ALWAYS have to reset prior to updating, seems like the updater could tell you this and provide instructions.

Never count on customers to guess what you're thinking?

It's in the instructions in the sticky, it's in the video... and ya, it COULD Be in the updater tool (and as we said, the updater tool is still in development) ... what can we say...

Just a helpful tip to avoid the possibilities of bricking your Peek.

You can reset your Peek AFTER the upgrade in case you forgot. No matter what, you need to do a reset to get all the features of Pronto (either before or after; preferably before).

I've found that I need to reset my Peek both before and after the upgrade process to get it to behave properly. I don't know why it needs that second kick in the pants after a factory-fresh install, but it has made all the difference for me the past 3 times I've re-flashed my Peek.

    RESET RESET RESET & RESET

It worked. Rest the thing before the install. I'm a very happy Peekster.
