Try out www.kwiry.com -- works by email if you send to save@kwiry.com (not just via texting...)

    What do you think?

I'm trying it out right now

Hm.. Still means having to go to a large-ish piece of hardware to retrieve the info. I like someone else's idea of simply creating an email in the Peek's Drafts folder. :)

I'm going to sign up and try it. It's a little like Evernote I use from my Windows Mobile phone where I can just clip, scribble, text, voice note or photo things to my Evernote reminder homepage. But I don't think I can SMS Evernote from it. I might sign up for this for when I only have my Peek.

@pam - i think you can retrieve the knowledge you enter there by asking kwiry via email. though I haven't successfully done it yet!

Amol - LOL - I'm reminded of the Peek calendar application in the Peek Boutique. Seems to me there may be a similar "notepad" application in existence. :)

I'll look for the kwiry "retrieve" function.

UPDATE: I looked at kwiry's answer to the question embedded below:
    http://getsatisfaction.com/kwiry/topics/where_does_my_kwiry_go_after_i_text_it_to_59479

Looks like one needs a non-Peek device to see the webpage with their kwiry's, sigh.

oh, and lastly, Amol - that Peek Boutique calendar app is SO versatile, one could repurpose it as a Notepad app... heh heh

Well I guess it doesn't matter now. I got a message that said they were going out of business April 23rd. Checked their homepage and there's a farewell message that says they aren't accepting new users and they advise everyone to get their data off. That's one example of the downfall of "cloud" computing.
