i thought it'd be nice to be able to forward rss feeds to my peek device, so i developed a website that will give you rss feed summaries of the feeds you want at an interval you specify (minutes, hours, days). the service is called peekfeed, and you can check it out at http://www.peekfeed.com/.

the rss parser is having some problems with some rss feeds, so i'll be switching over to a different [better] one as soon as i have a spare moment. i have class right now, but maybe i'll have a spare moment later today.

glad to hear you guys like it!

I was looking for this thread. I saw it as part of another thread yesterday, signed up and set up my feeds but as of yet I have received nothing. This must be due to the parser problem mentioned above.

Thanks guys. Peek Feed is a nice service. And way more reliable than other RSS-to-email gateways I have used. Hope you get the issues worked out soon with some feeds not resolving. Good job.

Dummie here.....I set up a feed to check it out, now when I go back to turn it off or find something else, I have no idea how to do that. It lets me sign in, then what? I've tried deleting that feed, but it gives me an error that I need to have a feed!

I remember a whole page of stuff to add, keywords, etc, but I can't find it now.

And remember I'm really really good at some of this stuff, but really really NOT at other stuff. LOL

    Thanks!

Just wanted to mention how GREAT this comes thru using the new web site at http://www.peekfeed.com
  1.
I'm getting [[ COULD NOT RETRIEVE FEED ]] & [[ COULD NOT RETRIEVE TWEETS ]] errors. dunno if it's just me so I'm checking here if anybody else is having issues too. I hope that it get fixed because I really like the idea of peekfeed myself :) especially since it can retrieve tweets too :D

Would there be any way to make it so you don't get an email if there's "No new tweets"?

This seems like a great app, but I don't particularly want to get emails every 30 minutes telling me that there's been nothing new added.

@austinm3: thanks for the suggestion-- we'll implement this in the coming week.
    @amol: thanks!
@deafcyclist: let me know if you're still having those problems-- i believe we got most of them squashed!

    thanks for the positive feedback!

    Hi,
I am new here. Is there any way to use peekfeed.com to email you when you get an @ reply on Twitter?

@JohnH I'll let someone else answer regarding PeekFeed, but TwitterMail will do it if you are a paid supporter. You should also look into Paki, our friend crc's baby. It's a bit "community-based" at this point, only like 20 users, but it's remarkably nice. See http://boards.getpeek.com/discussion/1519/3/paki-twitter-via-email/

I could probably get @ replies added to Paki pretty easily.... :)
