DailyLit is more than capable of sending messages which are too long for the Peek to display, even after multiple additional loads. Maybe that's what @stevehh is talking about?

Personally I wish one of the message-size options on DailyLit was "Peek-sized" as it is a great companion site for our little devices.

what im saying is that all it will display is the sender, sent to, date and time...nothing more, no text in the body at all...

The default is to send the books in HTML which doesn't work on the Peek. Just go to the book options on the subscription and choose the last encoding option. Maybe unicode works, too, but I haven't tried it.

Also, though I don't think it has anything to do with not seeing *any* text on your Peek, double-check that you have chosen the shortest message length. For me and the books I've selected, that's worked out just fine on the Peek so far. At least, I haven't noticed any discontinuities or missing text.

Daily Lit is a wonderful service. I've recommended it to a bunch of my friends, both Peek-ful and Peek-less.

    Maggie from DailyLit here.

Thanks to @georget, @cjstuff and others for helping out (and your kind words). If you stick with the default message size and change the default text type to plaintext your installments should be readable on the Peek.
