Suggestion: Please add a Peek software updating application tool for native Apple Mac OS X.

There are more and more of us Apple Mac users out here. Many have Peeks that we want to update from our Mac.

You can update Garmin GPS units, Blackberry's, Kindles, Sony readers, iPods, iPhones, and lots of other devices from your Mac, but not your Peek !

    Help !

I guess it makes sense considering the Peek market demographic.

However, the upgrade tool is part of the development kit for the Locosto chipset the Peek is designed around, so the guys at Peek will not likely be able to make a tool for OS X.

You might be better off submitting your request to the open source community.

Damn...I wish software is developed with cross compatibility in mind. Let's pin some hopes on the open source community as focmajik suggested...

Here's a quick question that is slighly off topic:

Is it possible to emulate serial-over-usb in software rather than needing the specific dongle that Peek uses? That would be nice because I could find a regular micro-usb cable for way cheaper than the one that Peek offers.
