I am trying to switch my domain email from a standard hosted POP3 to Google Apps. I emailed Peek Care and it seems they have tried everything in the book to make it switch, but still not working.

Every time I tried to add the account, I get the error "That username & password combination isn't valid. Please try again."

Supposedly the settings are exactly the same for Apps as they are for regular Gmail.

Is anyone else using Google Apps on their domain and working with Peek?

    -- Sidenote:

My main reason for switching is so that (hopefully) it will record sent messages from mobile devices. I'm pretty sure it will for Peek users and figured it might even for my Boss' Sidekick (sorry he wont give it up for a Peek, i've tried). In addition it proves to be move of a diverse service rather than regular POP3 w/ Outlook like we have now.

I am using the Standard edition. Will upgrade later if we run out of space.

Here is the link to set it up. The settings are the same as gmail. It works fine on Outlook. Kind of an odd thing.

@valzi - do you have the Standard or Premier. Don't know why, but maybe that is part of the problem?

@impel: The standard or premier what? Peeks are either Classic or Pronto, if that's what you mean. I have a Pronto.

I just got an email from Peek Care saying that they changed something which might have broken Google Apps mail:

"Thanks for contacting us here at Peek. Looks like we had some updates for Google Apps that may be causing this issue to keep happening. We are having an update go out on Thursday that should resolve this issue for you."

@valzi - I mean't Standard or Premier Google Apps version. The Free one or the one you pay for?

So, I guess Google Apps email was working at one point in time on Peek and should be fixed Thursday. Hopefully that will resolve my issue as well. I just havent had a response from Peek Care since 7pm last night, that's why I posted on here.

Mine is a university email account. I don't know if it's Standard or Premier or how to check. It's probably Premiere.
