@darkxsun I bought the TwitterPeek last week. I was sold then and I'm still sold. Let me give you some equivalences here - the TwitterPeek is 26 Angus Burger meals from McDonalds or 2 months of AT&T bills. Everyone keeps saying it's "expensive" but it just ain't when you remember it's lifetime service. If it had a sealed battery compartment like the iPhone I would NOT recommend it. But the extra battery is $10. Part of what makes it useful is it's anywhere size, part of it is it's bigger keyboard that I can press with my fingers not my fingernails, and the biggest part is the Twitter community is definitely something to be plugged into these days. This is the cheapest most twitterish way to do that for life. Is it perfect? Nope. When I encounter that perfect piece of tech, I'll let you know. I haven't found it yet.

@xackr If you're paying $100 a month for AT&T, I hope you're getting way more than I get from Verizon... I pay $43 and I have unlimited text (family line of 3, $130/month total).

Aside from that, I wasn't referring to the $199 cost. I meant the $8/month cost (on the $99 "model"). I'm still debating this cost.

As for as the $200 version, I'm just not sure how much I trust Twitter to stick around. Lifetime really means "as long as Twitter (and Peek) continue to exist". It's GOT to be expensive to run Twitter, and as of yet (as far as I know), they don't have any revenue generating plan yet, they're still going on venture money.

BUT, Peek is obviously working with Twitter on the TwitterPeek, otherwise they couldn't use Twitter trademarks (the bird, the Twitter name, etc). So maybe this is the start of revenue for them? I don't know. Just speculating ;-)

refresh/dl of tweet feed still lags a bit. Posting works (as I see the tweets via PC. Sometimes - Tweet Feeds don't show for a looong time. can't wait for next sw upgrade.. as the last sw upgrade for Peek Pronto worked like a charm..
