    Is it ok to upgrade your Peek to the new software 1.09.18 using WIndows XP

    @lulabug - You should be able to, however it might give you some trouble and act a tad funky. We're still looking into the few issues with the driver on XP.

    Yup - Just call Care at 1-877-677-7335 (PEEK) they can get it taken care of for you.

    For the record I updated to 1.09.18 on XP with no issues.

    @justpeeky, i tried doing it and it remains at .15.
    if you have time could go step by step.
    i have XP w/all the updates.

    @atvk55 Try the update again. I've done 3 updates and on 2 of them, it didn't work right, so I updated again. Then it worked fine.

    when i went from .04 to .15-the downloaded s/w (the installer and upgrade) didn't have the ".exe" at the end on my desktop. when i put the ".exe" at the end, the icon changed to a picture icon. after that it upgraded my peek to .15.
    does that make sense?

    @atvk55 - Drop.io is weird sometimes and doesn't add the proper file extension when it is downloaded.

    i thought maybe my computer was doing it.
    it's doing it to the "PL2303_Prolific_driverinstaller_v10518" too.
    should this have an ".exe" ?

    Yup - Everything should be .exe, minus the power point....thats .ppt

    now, if i can just get from my daughter......maybe i can do the upgrade too.
