    Peek is down again on Long Island NY, NYC suburb, writing this on my netbook...Peek turned on for the day at 7AM multiple resets, battery removal etc., shows good signal,then also the red X......I am not aware of any scheduled downtime, seem to be having alot of problems lately

    Im im Long Island NY (Suffolk County) my signal is good and ive been recieveing my emails since 7pm last nite till 8am today.

    I am in Nassau, signal strength excellent but as of 1025 no service

    Same in San Francisco.

    Has been a bad Peek week. Turns itself off, freezes, red X... Discouraging.

    I'm on Long Island as well and service has been spotty at best today. I'm running 01.09.18

    I called Peek service this afternoon, of course quite busy on a weekend, waited 10 mins but as always very nice person at the other end, during my wait I decided to go ahead via peek manager and hard reset the peek, did not want to as I, never learn, had alot of usefull info in my saved folder, not to mention my contacts from multiple accounts, the reset corrected the problem. It turns out I had been able to send out but could not receive any email... the customer service rep was able to confirm my problem and thought given sometime the reset would correct things and it did after 20-30 mins.....perhaps there was some server software updates overnight when my peek is off????
    Have not need to do a hard reset in sometime, just will not rely on info stored on the peek in the future...
