Got it, activated it. I've attached two gMail accounts to it, and can send emails from the device but cannot receive. At all. I'll give the customer service a chance when the sun comes up, but I've still got the receipt and slowly building frustration. Any suggestions?

Nah, finally received my test emails all at once nearly three hours after the original test email was sent. It works, but the way it manages is awful slow. I suppose as long as I don't need the information immediately, it isn't too big of a deal. Still, for twenty bucks a month... I dunno, reliability is something thats left to be desired at the moment. Perhaps if I go through with the Pronto upgrade, it'll speed up a bit.

To be fair, though, Target is now selling them for under four bucks. If nothing else, its a cheap watch.

@narchais - Generally, when you first activate a Peek...it can take some time before everything gets going. You shouldn't expect extensive receiving delays after the initial set up of your Peek.

Since you purchased your Peek at Target, I would HIGHLY advise you to upgrade your Peek to Pronto, the experience is 10x better.

Aye, thats what I keep reading. Nifty additional apps, much faster response times. All good things. Shame about having to wait two weeks for the update (a week out, a week back), but it beats the alternative (paying for a cord that was on back order from what I've been reading). Must I use this specific cord? Is there a third party one or one that works with another device I could use? Seems a shame that they couldn't use a simple mini-B or another common plug for the Peek, but I'm sure they had reasons.

The Peek has no native USB support, so the cable we use converts serial to USB.

Ahh, that makes sense then. Since you have all the answers so far (and I'm grateful for that, believe me... good customer service seems to be difficult to find these days), why does the website say 14.99 a month, when I was told 19.99 a month when I activated my Peek? Had to verify my account to make certain I didn't misread it... and nope, still 19.99.

We currently offer 3 payment plan options. All plans have no hidden fees or contracts and are for unlimited email and texting.

    Standard Monthly Plan $19.95
    Quarterly Plan $49.95 (16.67 a month)
    Yearly Plan $179.95 (14.99 a month)

We offer a 30 day MBG on both the Quarterly and Yearly plans. Should you choose to not continue your Peek service within the first 30 days of having either plan, we will only charge the first month of service and credit the remaining amount back. $30 for Quarterly and $160 for the Yearly. That being said, per our terms of service, service is non-refundable. Should you discontinue Peek service within the middle of your monthly billing cycle, we will not issue any pro-rated credits.

Quick and to the point. Still loving the customer service. The speed has improved dramatically since last night, and I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Thank you kindly for your assistance.
