I hope I'm not alone on this...

My wife has an ATT phone.
She sent a picture to my Gmail account.
Picture is in the Gmail inbox when viewed on a computer.
Pictures are not being forwarded to my Peek.

    Any input on this one?

Oh yeah, pics sent from Verizon phones come through perfect... that's the kicker.

How is your wife sending them from her phone? Email or MMS?

    @ Tom - It's standard multi-media texting, not emailing.

I've had the same problem. I think its because when it sends it, it sends it as a "multimedia message" and the attachment is usually "untitled" without a file extension.

I usually have to copy them to my computer, change the filename and add .jpg to get them to be viewable on there. Gmail will render the file, but if you save it, you have to add the .jpg onto it.

Why it does it that way, I don't know :)

@pinhead - We don't support MMS, so you may want to try geekyj's work around.

I think the reason why Peek (or the peek itself I should say) won't see the attachment is that it checks to see if its .gif, .jpg, or .pdf. If it is, it will show the option to "view attachment". If not....it won't. Since its just "untitled" without any extension, it doesn't recognize it as a valid attachment to show, so it doesn't give the option.

Seems to only be a problem with the big T though, Verizon attachments show up with the .jpg extension so they work fine :)

Did they email it? It only works if they email it to you-I don't think you can SMS a pic on verizon. I also recall that the first time I did it went straight to spam :)
