Is there any way to disable the automatic contact adding feature? It's making my contact list very unorganized.

I second that... maybe in the next update...?

I guess there is no option for it now. Hopefully the update will have that option.

I've just stopped looking in the contact list all together. Way too ugly in there. I just use the auto complete in the to field. Does anyone know if there is a way to scroll through the drop down list that pops up? I have a few people with the same first name and you can't see more than 3 or 4 names in the menu. You cant keep typing the name either because it jumps to a new contact when you hit space.

Well yeah, but it only displays a couple names, not all of them.

    for example say you have

    John Smith
    John Arbuckle
    John Fakename
    John Smith 2
    John Smith 3

it may only display the first three or four names on the drop down with no way to get to the fifth name, even if you scroll.

hmmm.... that's odd. Mine will only show a handful. What version are you using? Mine's 1.09.15

Same version. I think the reason I'm showing 9 is because it's showing emails and sms #'s for each one. Not really 9 different people though. Perhaps you could categorize with a letter you don't use as much...? For instance my brother is named Bro in my list rather than his actual name.

You can continue typing the name. For example, if you have these contacts:
    John Smith
    John Arbuckle
    John Fakename
    John Quiznat
    John Veggie

and you want to contact John Fakename, you can type John F and it will show up.

@tex210 I have them in the contacts as Last Name, First Name as a workaround.

@ManBearWaffle how do you keep typing after the first name? When I hit the space bar it thinks I'm done with that contact and am adding another.

I don't know, I don't have that many people with the same name. If that happens to you, the only solution I can think of, is not putting a space between the name in your contacts. e.g. JohnSmith.
