    We've had a lot of product feature requests on these boards. We've created a way for the community of Peeksters to help us decide what goes in to future releases of Peek.

    We've added a bunch that were already on these boards (added by me on your behalf and the submitter credited) and added the features that are on our current product roadmap (added by Yasser).

    You can add add features, vote up or down on features, and comment on features. This site is for you to tell us what you want and we're listening.

    Here's the link http://youtellus.getpeek.com
    Keep it clean and fun for everyone.

    I might as well post my concern (as it spans a few on the page and it bumps this thread) but I'm not really saavy of hardware upgrades at this point. I'm sure a lot of customers would like MicroSD, a miniature 802.11 chipset, and a larger screen. As it would be nice, but I like the basic Peek the way it is (larger fonts would work for many) and like the low cost to own one.

    Added a couple of ideas over there and just want to note;
    I love being able to offer my two cents,
    You say "help us decide what goes in to future releases of Peek", It sounds like hardware so I was wondering if there is a way for you to divvy up the list - hardware changes / feasible software suggestions for existing hardware. Right now it's the kitchen sink list.

    @tex210 - we can create categories for hardware or software. For now the kitchen sink looks pretty cool though. We've also noticed a few duplicates showing up.

    We'll clean it up before the kitchen sink is a cesspool.

    A Peek specifically designed to crash and randomly create ugly collages on bright pink backgrounds against blue menus and bloody heart drawings.

    I think we're forgetting about WiiPeek. Use your Peek as a Wii remote!

    Then we've GOT to have XPeek360, which is 4 times larger than any other Peek, runs strange Microsoft proprietary software, and scratches your discs while you aren't looking ;-)

    Hello fellow Peekers! I am new to this discussion board, but not new to hand held devices. I love all the great ideas people have posted here and have read a few of them at http://youtellus.getpeek.com . Keep the ideas coming and remember to bump up ideas you like.

    Why is the board STILL OUT OF ORDER?? Ruins the idea of voting.. or seeing the actual popular posts.
    Since JULY the youtellus idea board has been broken. Please fix it.

    I believe IcerC means that the "popular" tab should be sorted so that the items with the most points appear on that page.

    Well, I know that people like options and a customizable Peek would be awesome. I'm talking about colors, camera, mp3 etc. I thought about a micro SD and see that someone mentioned that earlier so I second that for sure! I like the idea of a Social Peek that is used for all social networking sites. I play music and tend to have to use my phone for updates and it kills my battery. this would be a perfect fit for a smart phone

    Back to the customizing, People can order a peek with or without a camera and select a wider variety of colors to choose from. A micro SD slot can be used to store MP3's so people can email and listen to music or network and jam out to their favorite tunes. If they receive a delicate attatchment or email, it can be saved to the MiciroSD and moved to wherever one would move it.

    Another Idea that is more practical is a send button on the keypad or a shortcut to send without clicking the wheel maybe locate it by above the wheel, to mention a better spell checker. Speaking of the scroll wheel, why not have the capability to highlight some text in efforts to Copy or Delete parts of an email as an example?

    I have been looking at getting a Peek. I would like to see a Peek that will work overseas and in Canada. This is my main addition. If the Peek worked overseas or at least Canada I would def be on board. I travel a lot and the overseas charges on my phone are outrageous.

    It would also be helpful if there was a pay for each day you use your Peek as well as the monthly plan. Say $1 a day or something like that which would be charged on the days you power on your Peek. I have been thinking about getting the Peek as a backup and for when I tour & travel, but I don't really need a full month of service, just certain days.

    First, I don’t work for Peek. I think they are doing great.

    I bet you that Peek at this stage of their business is makes little or no money on the sale of their devices alone. The price is likely near cost. The T-Mobile service is leased to you through Peek's firm contract with T-Mobile. They have overhead and try to keep bandwidth to "minimum". The real question is "What do you want for $14.99 a month; unless you have a better idea?". Maybe some people mistaken their best ideas for technologies the already exist elsewhere.

    I am not sure that we want to get in to a debate on what is feasible without addressing cost and practicality. As most ideas I read are technologically possible, but for an example I wouldn't hold my breath on Peek implementing MP3 support just for the reason stated in the idea.

    (thinking like an investor).

    I don’t think most business pay a whole lot attention to customer's dreams unless they are seriously usable. Most people who think outside the box do a great job at staying grounded, but every once awhile a business with read a customer's pipe-dream and say "What are they smoking?" if they don't read details on how it is affordable. The Peek 'business model' does not look to be going in the direction of PDA, Smartphone , or Personal Media Player (PMP). If they did, it wouldn't look or cost anything like a current Peek.

    What Peek mobile features and enhancements would you like to see?

    @Eli
    You are most likely right about profit on device (about 0).
    I got my Pronto at the one-year anniversary sale for $1.
    Definitely took a loss there.
