New Peek user - 3 days and counting. Didn't see this shortcut suggested and thought I'd throw it out here. When composing an email - hold Enter to send. Still getting used to the scroll wheel.

As someone who uses the enter key to separate paragraphs on my painfully thumb-typed content, I just want to make sure that the software is able to distinguish between a carriage return and a sustained carriage return that would trigger a "send" command.

Maybe it would be safer to map another key to the "send" command? This sure would be a great feature--I like to avoid using the scroll wheel as much as possible.

@Tom - How about @ + return? That's kind of intuitive and nicely symmetrical.

in another thread a few weeks ago someone suggested holding [left shift]+[right shift]+[enter] for sending which felt fine to me. I think pambudgie said her fingers were too small for that kind of button mashing :) I like the holding [enter] idea better.

I just bought a red classic the other day and was wondering if there was some shortcut I was missing.

shift-return would work quite nicely. :-)

@georget the same reason as all the keyboard shortcuts, I guess. Just makes things a little easier / faster.

I agree a keyboard shortcut would be nice. However, I can't imagine how irritating it would be to try to press 3 keys at once. I use Peek on the bus a lot, while standing and holding stuff, so 2 keys (or holding) would be way better, I think.

i would just like the interface to speed up while sending. after i send an email, the peek is unusable for 5-20 seconds. for that reason, i just click the scroll wheel 2 times to send as i am putting it in my pocket. don't like to stare at the screen while it takes it time to send.
